Easy to prepare and very tasty. Make extras and freeze them for a really quick dinner next time. Serves 4 Ingredients
MethodPreheat the grill to high. Mix the lamb, breadcrumbs, lemon juice, salt pepper and nutmeg. Fry half a teaspoon in a pan; taste and season if necessary (remember the cheese is salty). Mix the herbs and butter. Divide the lamb mixture into eight, then roll each piece into a ball and make a hole with your finger. Press some herb butter into each hole. Cover it over completely, then flatten the balls into burgers. brush with oil and grill for 5 minutes on each side until well browned and cooked through. Put a slice of blue cheese on top of each burger and grill until it melts. Serve with a tomato and onion salad. |
